"Flippin for Kate" late night Pancake benefit
Saturday, September 4th, 2010 (9:00 pm)
This Saturday night, Monkeezbrew is having a late night pancake supper called "Flippin' For Kate." This event will benefit Kate Thornton's family of Thomasville. The suggested donation per plate is $5.00. Kate was diagnosed with leukemia two years ago this week. After a brave fight, Kate can no longer receive treatments. Her body is too weak and the doctors have said that they can do nothing more for her except make her fi...nal days as comfortable as possible. She continues to do little girl stuff. She plays dress up and plays with her dolls. These last days are precious time for Kate and her family. Monkeezbrew has been a great source of help to us by allowing us to have several fund raisers in their shop. This time they want to do their own. The funds raised will go directly into Kate's dad's hands for everyday needs. You are cordially invited to this worthwhile event. Please come out late this Saturday evening and help us celebrate the life of this inspiring little girl.
