2012’s Superstorm Sandy struck along the East Coast and damaged cars in many cities. Waterlogged cars, especially salt water soaked cars, can have delinquent issues not to mention bacteria and mold growth, as well as electrical failures. However, these cars are easy to mop up, clean up, and look like new.
Carfax, the leader in vehicle history reporting has evidence that more than 200,000 flood damaged cars are on the road right now and those potentially dangerous cars could get resold at any time to unsuspecting buyers.
So beware before buying a previously owned vehicle.
