I've been with 104.1 WTQR since 1994,
I grew up on a horse farm in Atlanta, Georgia! My parents and Sister own and operate Ward Stables located north of Atlanta, one of the top American Saddlebred Training facilities in the Southeast!
Graduated from Colonial Hills Christian High School in 1986, Jefferson State College in 1990, and Auburn University in 1992.
I'm a huge Atlanta Braves fan, and adopted the Pittsburgh Steelers as my Pro football team when I got married. I began my radio career while attending college, with my first job in radio as a sportscaster at Auburn University. (I bleed Orange and Blue! Go Tigers!)
I spend my free time playing with my Grandson Rydan, and hanging out with my husband whenever we aren't both working.
I enjoy family & friends, Caribbean vacations as often as possible. Racing & horses. Christian faith. I love to help others through volunteerism:
1) Victory Junction Camp
2) Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
3) March of Dimes
4) Make-a-Wish foundation
5) American Red Cross
6) Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

This photo was posted on the Shanghai Style File blog, which is usually dedicated to fashion. According to the blog:
And now for something completely different. We interrupt Shanghai Style File’s usual broadcast of all things chic to present to you a smoking Chinese toddler spotted on Easter Sunday in Shanghai’s family-friendly Fuxing Park. My jaw dropped when his pajama-clad mother handed the tot a cigarette… then lit it for him … then smiled on as he smoked it… then laughed as he rolled on the ground when he felt sick. As I snapped photos, my friends begged the parents to intervene, but they just enjoyed the show. This is a disturbing scene indeeed, but I could not not share this.
