Luke Bryan and newcomers Kelleigh Bannen and Jon Pardi shut down Nashville's Lower Broadway Wednesday night for the annual Capitol Street Party. The event attracted thousands of fans to the downtown area for a free night of music and celebrity sightings, which is one of Luke's favorite parts about living in Music City.
"I mean, I remember my parents came up one time and Garth and Trisha came up to Pancake Pantry and stood. They were the 100th people in line and they stood in line and they stood right there in the cold like everybody else. And we did so many things that weekend and my parents thought that was the highlight of their weekend," said Luke.
The cast of Nashville were also downtown filming scenes at the Ryman Auditorium. A few blocks away, Vince Gill, Randy Owen, Charlie Daniels and Mayor Karl Dean were being honored at the Dale Franklin Awards at the War Memorial Auditorium.
