The country star-studded show airs December 3rd on NBC

Halloween has just ended, which means the world is now getting those Christmas lists ready, preparing for the holiday (with Thanksgiving in between of course). But to help get things started, the CMA's new Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton headed to Hollywood over the weekend to tape his first Christmas special for NBC. The show is titled Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas, and he promises that it will be full of B.S. -- Blake Shelton -- that is.
The country star says, “I’ve always kind of been an NBC guy, and they allowed us to be real edgy with it. They allowed me to be me. It’s not a concert by any stretch of the imagination. It’s music. It’s just me, is all I can say.”
The show taped Sunday in Los Angeles and featured performances by Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, wife Miranda Lambert and mom Dorothy Shackleford. The special airs December 3rd on the peacock network.
