Rascal Flatts and Nashville’s Hayden Panettiere have been named co-hosts of the CMT Artists of the Year special, airing December 8th. The 90-minute special celebrates a group of honorees who have made an impact on the format in 2012.
Jay DeMarcus says, “We are honored to be co-hosting the CMT Artists of the Year show with Hayden. Save the cheerleader, host a TV show! We’re gonna have a blast!”
Hayden adds, “Nashville is my second home now. I am so happy to be embraced by the country community and to be included in such a big event.”
The honorees will be kept secret until the night of the show.
