The country star is helping the 17-year-old homecoming king celebrate his birthday in a big way

Country singer Lauren Alaina has been making a young boy's dreams come true, who was unfortunatley diagnosed with a stage 3 Astrocytoma brain tumor. The country singer escorted Jordan Trunfio to his homecoming dance recently, but now she has her sights set on making his birthday extra special this year.
WMZQ 98.7's Boxer got a chance to catch up with Lauren at this year's CMA Awards, where the country star told him about Boxer show listner Meredith Oare, who won a contest to meet her backstage at a concert. Meredith shared Jordan's Story, and how he had won homecoming king. Touched by Jordan's story, because of her cousin Holly who had a brain tumor, the country star took the 17-year-old homecoming king to his dance.
Now, having discovered that they both share the same birthday (November 8), Lauren is flying Jordan out to Georgia to meet her cousin Holly, who is now cancer-free.
