The show, hosted by Hayden Panettiere and Rascal Flatts, will air December 8th
The celebrity guest list for the 2012 CMT Artists of the Year special includes last year's honorees, Jason Aldean andKenny Chesney. Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Sammy Hagar, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert,Kacey Musgraves, Kenny Rogers, Thompson Square, Carrie Underwood, Chris Young and Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertsonwill also be on the show.
The 90-minute special celebrates a new class of entertainers who've had a significant impact on country music. For the first time, CMT is keeping the list of honorees confidential until the night of the show, which airs on December 8th.
Rascal Flatts and Nashville’s Hayden Panettiere will host the show.
