Christmas has come early for Kip Moore, who scored his second consecutive number-one hit on the Mediabase chart over the weekend with “Beer Money.” Kip took to Twitter Sunday to express his appreciation to fans for their support, posting:

There is an interesting story behind Kip's #1. He said, “It actually sparked from, I was talking about a buddy of mine’s dad who lost his job of like 31 years. But regardless of how tough times are, ticket sales are still up. People are still going to movies. And bars are still filled with people having a good time. So it’s like, no matter how rough times get, people are still going to need that outlet to go and do something. And that’s how the whole song got started.”
