Miranda Lambert is opening her very own store called Pink Pistol.  It'll be located near her farm in Tishomingo, Oklahoma . . . and it'll feature antiques, gifts, boots, jeans and stuff like that.  Miranda says, quote, "We're having the Grand Opening the day after Thanksgiving, on Black Friday, only we're calling it Pink Friday."  (The Boot)

Dolly Parton does not like Simon Cowell.  Okay fine, she doesn't like his shows.  She told Britain's "Daily Star", quote, "I've been asked to do 'American Idol' and 'X Factor' almost every time they do a new series but turned them down.  But I could imagine myself doing 'The Voice'."
